On April 8th, the 2025 Uzbekistan International Food, Ingredients, Packaging (Processing Technology) Exhibition was grandly held in Tashkent. Representatives from Ningxia''s "Hometown Village" leisure food enterprise in China attended the exhibition as part of the delegation from the Ningxia Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and were also invited to the China (Ningxia) - Uzbekistan Enterprise Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair.

Uzbekistan, the country with the richest tourism resources among the five Central Asian nations, can be called a pearl on the Silk Road. It boasts numerous world cultural heritage sites, such as important post stations on the Silk Road and historical relics left by powerful kingdoms in Persian history. Uzbekistan is a key country for China''s agricultural cooperation and also an important node in participating in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative". In recent years, China-Uzbekistan economic and trade cooperation has maintained a sound development momentum, with cooperation mechanisms in various fields gradually improving, trade scale continuously expanding, and investment cooperation advancing steadily.

UzFood, the Uzbekistan Food Exhibition, is the largest food exhibition in Uzbekistan. First held in 2001, this year marks its 22nd edition. The exhibition covers all categories of the food and beverage industry, serving as a platform that independently connects high-quality trade buyers and influential industry insiders with individual exhibitors, regional exhibitors, and national pavilions. It is an international grand event in the field of Uzbekistan''s food industry and has received strong support from various industry associations and government agencies, including the Ministry of Trade and Investment of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Agriculture, business operators, the Oil, Grain and Food Association, the Wholesalers Association, and the Tashkent Municipal Government. UzFood is the most important trade platform for China''s food industry to enter Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region.

This event was co-organized by both Chinese and Uzbek sides, and a China (Ningxia) - Uzbekistan Enterprise Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair was held. The President of the Uzbekistan Food and Industry Association, principals of 4 local large-scale supermarkets, representatives from the organizer of Iteca Exhibition, and a number of enterprises were invited to attend. Chinese enterprises including Simplot (China) Food Co., Ltd., Ningxia Huichun Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Ningxia Yimei Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Ningxia Junxingfang Food Technology Co., Ltd., Ningxia Little Yellow Duck Food Co., Ltd., Ningxia Yilong Vegetable Planting Co., Ltd., Ningxia Yizhongyuan Food Co., Ltd., and Ningxia Transportation and Logistics Group Co., Ltd. conducted on-site product promotions to explore cooperation opportunities together.

At the forum, as a characteristic leisure food brand from Ningxia, "HUIXIANGZHAIZI" had its product advantages and market potential elaborated on to the Uzbek side by Chairman Ma Jinlong, attracting extensive attention from the attending guests.

Representatives from supermarkets in Uzbekistan have shown strong interest in introducing Chinese leisure food. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as channel expansion and localized cooperation. Such activities have built an efficient docking platform for enterprises of the two countries, and are expected to promote in-depth linkage between Ningxia''s high-quality agricultural products and the consumer market in Uzbekistan.
